Siding Styles:
Board & Batten
A classic look with modern convenience.
Choose Board & Batten siding to create bold vertical emphasis on all exterior walls or in special accent areas.
One of the earliest residential sidings, board and batten originally was installed over log-built homes to provide greater weather protection. Its clean, simple beauty soon attracted other homeowners, and eventually the prominent vertical lines of board and batten siding become a characteristic detail of Gothic Revival homes. Today these homes – many referred to as Carpenter Gothic for the tradesmen who built them – are found from coast to coast.
Choose Board & Batten's natural oak grain with a traditional 5 1/2" face with a 1 1/2" batten that projects 1/2" above the board surface, creating bold, deep shadow lines.
Available in 12 rich colors, and the widest variety of trim, soffit and accessory options to complement your home's appearance. |
